I understand the importance of education and educating our youth. However, I recognize that the catalyst to them achieving success depends on more then simply being educated. It depends on wether that child's needs are being met as a whole. These needs can include emotional, psychological, financial and environmental. The Faces of Youth Project was started with a holistic view of preparing children to reach a successful future. We believe that when the basic needs of the youth are addressed, it has a great impact on all aspects of their lives. We also believe one of the keys to youth success is creating and maintaining a foundation of a worthy existence, self-confidence, building character, integrity and serving in something bigger then themselves. |
